Surrey-based Freelance Copywriter & Content Strategist

Your DIY website got you this far. But now?

It's holding you back.

This is less shouty, more strategic, grown-up website copywriting for small businesses

Your website technically works(ish). It's live, and it says what you do. It's even bringing in a few leads. But it's not really doing your business justice.

It's not that you haven't tried, but no matter how many tweaks you make, something still feels a bit 'meh'. Too safe. Too generic. A little too side hustle-esque.

You reluctantly send people there because you have to send them somewhere. But your website is giving off more bounce than buy vibes, and deep down, you haven't really got the time or headspace to figure out how to fix that.

Because you're busy moving your industry forward.

And because, let's be honest, all that brand messaging, tone-of-voice, content strategy stuff gives you a rabbit-hole-induced headache.

You know your business is doing stand-out stuff.

So, let's make sure your website is pulling its weight. That way, everyone else will know, too.

SEO website copywriting for small businesses

Here's what your small but mighty business deserves from its website copy:

Bold messaging that helps you stand out from the crowd (without shouting) and draw your own in.

Clever copywriting that reflects your brand values, so it's clear where you stand in your industry.

Authority-building content that earns trust and showcases your expertise (minus the ego).

Strategic words that help your audience buy (because no one wants to be sold to).

Content strategy for business growth

Fancy brand shoots and natty designs only go so far.

And AI-regurgitated blurbs lifted from your competitors? Not cutting it anymore.

It's 2025. Your audience is savvier than ever, and if you want a website that works for you, you have to be, too.

So, how do we turn your website into a lead-generating, brand-building, conversion-making machine?

SEO that reads natural

I make SEO simple and skimmable.

Yes, your content will be optimised to rank, but I'll do it without robotic phrasing, jargon overload, or keyword cramming.

I write for humans first.

Selling with soul

Instead of relying on gimmicks, persuasion tricks, or aggressive sales tactics, I write with the philosophy of selling how you'd want to be sold to.

That's authority-driven content marketing to build credibility, trust, and demand naturally.

A tone-of-voice that fits

Standing out doesn't mean plastering your site with silly jokes. I write conversational copywriting to match the unique tone of voice that your business demands.

It doesn't need to be boring or bonkers.

Messaging that lands

We'll find a fresh take on what you do and tell it so it lands with the people who matter most - your dream clients.

I'll keep it in line with your brand values so your audience can easily see what you're all about without us needing to spoon-feed it.

When you're ready to get started, here's what you'll get

Starting from three pages of conversion-focused website copy packed with:

  • Clear, strategic messaging that makes instant sense to your audience

  • Keyword research and SEO that works with your brand voice (no keyword-stuffed fluffery here)

  • Storytelling that grabs eyeballs and makes your value undeniably clear

  • Content that handles objections before they come up

  • Words that turn curiosity into conversions (without the hard sell)

The Nitty Gritty:
My Very Simple Copywriting Process

  • I start every project with a deep dive into your business and brand.

Don't worry; there's no 50-page questionnaire for you to fill out. I want to make this very easy for you.

Instead, we'll talk about everything over Zoom. That way, I can transcribe your answers.

It's better this way because it means I can dig a little deeper, and you can talk a little longer.

(I will send you the questions in advance, as some require just a little thinking on your part.)

  • I'll get to it and start writing.

I might have a few questions along the way.

I might get you to have a squizz half-way through, to make sure you're happy with how it's going.

  • If you're local, we'll review your copy together.

If not, I'll take you through the whys and ways of your words over Zoom.

It's crucial that you understand why things are written the way they are so you can constructively
review them. You need to become your audience. Trust me, it's not as woo-woo as it sounds.

  • We go live!

Done-for-you copywriting services FAQ

  • It sounds like fancy pants jargon, I know. Bear with.

Authority-driven content positions your brand as a go-to expert.

Instead of relying on old-school sales gimmicks, persuasion tricks, or aggressive bro-marketing, it means focusing on high-value, insightful content that builds trust, credibility, and demand naturally.

It helps attract the right audience, keeps them engaged and drives conversions without the hard sell.

  • Absolutely. I can refine, refresh, and optimise your current content for clarity, engagement, and searchability so it actually works for your business.

  • Fresh, engaging content is the key to long-term visibility and audience trust.

If you ghost your audience, engagement (and sales) can drop.

Consistency isn’t just nice to have, it’s what keeps you top of mind (and top of Google).

  • Not using AI would be like a farmer ploughing by hand instead of using a tractor. But do I copy-paste AI-generated content? No, because, ew.

I use multiple tools for outlining, idea generation, research, editing and, on really bad days, parenting advice.

But AI doesn’t have my creativity, my experience, or my knack for nuance. It’s not the writer. I am.

  • I naturally integrate well-researched keywords to improve visibility without compromising readability.

  • If your content is nonexistent, inconsistent, not converting, or buried on page five of Google, it’s time to call in a pro.
